Wisepon Construction was contracted to deliver a professional waterproofing solution for a concrete roof slab deck that had developed signs of water ingress and surface cracking due to prolonged exposure to the elements.

This project was critical to protecting the internal structure of the building and eliminating moisture-related damage, especially during heavy rains.

Scope of Work

The project was executed in several precision-driven phases:

• Detailed roof inspection to assess the extent of moisture penetration, surface damage, and structural weaknesses.
• Thorough surface cleaning using pressure washing to remove dust, algae, and debris.
• Crack and joint repairs using high-strength polyurethane sealants.
• Application of primer to promote strong adhesion of waterproof membrane.
• Installation of a cold-applied, liquid waterproofing membraneideal for exposed concrete roofs.
• Protective UV topcoat application to guard against harsh sun exposure and weathering.
• Final inspection and water pond testing to ensure complete sealing.

Results and Impact

Following the application of the waterproofing system, the roof slab deck was fully sealed, watertight, and weatherproof.

This ensured zero water leakage into the living or working spaces below and significantly reduced the risk of mold, mildew, and ceiling damage.
