Gutter Rubberising and Waterproofing Solution

Wisepon Construction was contracted to deliver a durable gutter rubberising and waterproofing solution for a client experiencing persistent leaks, corrosion, and water overflow issues. The objective was to restore gutter functionality and protect the building’s structure from long-term water damage.

This project is part of our ongoing mission to deliver cost-effective, high-performance waterproofing solutions across Zimbabwe’s residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Scope of Work

Our skilled technicians executed a detailed, multi-step process:

• Initial assessment to determine the extent of damage and weak points in the gutter system.
• Cleaning and preparation of gutter surfaces to remove dirt, rust, and old coatings.
• Application of specialized rubberising membrane to coat the interior of the gutters.
• Sealing of joints, corners, and overlaps with waterproof rubber compound to ensure leak-proof protection.
• Final protective coat for UV resistance and long-term durability.

Results and Impact

Thanks to Wisepon’s advanced gutter rubberising techniques, the client’s gutter system is now completely sealed, waterproofed, and reinforced against harsh weather conditions. This solution prevented potential water intrusion into the building foundation and walls—protecting property value and reducing future maintenance costs.

The treated gutters now channel rainwater effectively, reducing the risk of damp issues, mold growth, and structural decay.
